James ‘Buster’ Neailson Morris, Jr., 61 of Lexington, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at his home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, December 27, 2020 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with by the Rev. Jason Koontz and livestreamed at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome . Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, attendees will be limited to 50 or less and are asked to practice social distancing and wear a mask.
James was born on March 14, 1959 in Davidson County to James Neailson Morris, Sr. and Mabel Hunter Morris. He worked in Maintenance for PPG and attended Pinedale Christian Church. A love of fishing, spending time with family and his grandchildren, provided Buster with much happiness in his life. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Jackie James.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Gail Myers Morris, of the home; step-daughter, Beth Wales (Caan) of Colorado; brother, Tony Morris (Pamela) of Lexington; sisters, Patricia Charles (Jerry) of Lexington, Carol Hoffman of Jacksonville, NC; two grandchildren, Jade Myers (Chandler), Jewel Franklin and one great-grandchild, Liam Myers.
