James Loran Casey

James Loran Casey, 67, of Lexington, died early Monday morning, April 16, 2012, at Wake Forest Baptist Health – Lexington Medical Center. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall, with the Pastor Scot McCosh officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home. Mr. Casey was born December 28, 1944, in Calhoun County, Al, to General Loran Casey and Marie Tedder Casey. He was a retired Barber from Northside Barber Shop and a member of Robinhood Road Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving in addition to his mother of Lexington are a son, Michael Casey and wife, Renee, of Fayetteville; grandson, Sean Casey; and sister, Jo Shrum and husband, Dennis, of Lexington.
