James Daniel Church

James Daniel Church, age 60 of Timber Ridge Drive, Lexington passed away Tuesday morning May 19, 2020 at his home with his family by his side.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic a private service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 PM Friday, May 22, 2020 in the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Rev. Darrell Sluder officiating.

J ames was born in Davidson CountyJune 27, 1959 to Roy Lee Church, Sr. and Ruby Potts Church. He was a former employee of Border Concepts. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Wanda Costner and a brother Franklin Mock Church.

Surviving are his wife Pamela Leffew Church of the home; daughters, Vickie Church of Salisbury, Ashley Leonard (Jason), Amber Morrow and Amy Nassef all of Lexington; son, James Daniel (J.D.) Church of Lexington; grandchildren, Zach, Makayla, Samantha, Tyler, Kara, Peyton, Kylie, Hayden, Delaney and Thomas; sisters, Sherry Rolph, Debbie Gilley and Ida Purdue (Pee Wee) all of Lexington; brothers, Roy Lee Church, Jr. (Barbara), Ray Church, George Church (Sharon), Robert Church (Susan), Tim Church (Sharon) all of Lexington.
