James Edward Coble

James Edward Coble, age 81 of East US Highway 64, Lexington passed away Friday evening May 31, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 5, 2019 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Robert Floyd officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening.

James was born in Davidson County September 8, 1937 to Bennie Franklin Coble and Emma Faye Lee Coble. He was owner/operator of Southern Auto Sales. He was preceded in death by his parents: brother Robert Coble and a sister, Betty Tysinger.

Surviving are his wife, Carmelita Everhart Coble; daughters, Cindy Coble, Jody Presnell (Charles) and Myra Coble all of Lexington; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Sadie Smith of Lexington and Wilma Miller (Ray) of Kernersville; brother, Dallas Coble (Wanda) of Lexington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC or to Carolina Cancer Services, 25 W. 6th Avenue, Lexington, NC 27292.
