James Wesley Comer

James Wesley Comer, 82, of Sumter, South Carolina, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Sumter Health and Rehab Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, April 6 ^th in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jimmy Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Lexington City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Comer was born January 5, 1940, in Davidson County to Frank Comer and Idaree Comer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Glenna Rose Jones Comer; and one sister, Joann Owens.

Surviving is sister in-law, Flora Brown (Roger) of Greensboro.
