James Junior Craven

James Junior Craven 65 of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday afternoon October 13, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Forsyth Memorial Park with Pastor Clyde Akers. The family will receive friends Wednesday night 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. James Junior Craven was born May 18, 1947 to Hadley Rufus Craven and Aleen Furr Craven. He was retired from Forsyth County Schools. He served in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter; Tammy Hawks – 11-07-2006. Surviving are his wife, Linda Owens Craven of the home, son; James Douglas Craven of Winston Salem, grandchildren; Brandon Moore, Shane Moore, great grandchildren; Slater Smith, Mailie Kay Moore. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
