James Franklin Curry

James Franklin Curry, 72, of Tall Pines Road, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem after an extended illness. A private burial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Maple Grove Church of the Brethern by the Rev. David Langley. Mr. Curry was born May 9, 1935, in Davidson County to Hubert Franklin Curry and Louise Mize Curry. He was self-employed and was a U.S. veteran, having served during the Berlin Crisis. Church Of The Brethern was his chosen faith. Surviving are two brothers, Leon Curry and his wife, Betty, and Charles "Cid" Curry and his wife, Mary Lou, all of Lexington. Memorials may be directed to Mapel Grove Church Of The Brethern, 2493 N.C. Highway 150 North, Lexington, NC 27295.
