James “Buddy” Thomas Donley, age 88, of Winston Salem passed away Sunday, February 28, 2021 at his home. A graveside service will be Noon Thursday March 4, 2021 at Parklawn Memorial Park conducted by Pastor Eddie Evans.
Mr. Donley was born November 23, 1932 in McDowell County, W. Virginia to Robert Lee Donley and Mary Harris Donley. He was the retired owner/operator of LJM Machine. His parents and his wife, Nancy Rivers Willard Donley preceded him in death.
Surviving are his daughter, Stacie Michael (Chris) and his son, Craig Donley all of Lexington. Five grandchildren, Jerame (Jenna), Cory (Kayla), Riley, Alden and Griffin. Two great grandchildren, Colin and Eli. A daughter in law, Renea Donley of Clemmons. His brothers, Doug Donley of Walkertown and Bernard Donley of Missouri. A sister, Aileen Escore of Winston Salem.
The family would like to thank his caregivers, Mary Matthews Tifton Frye, Lisa Hathaway, Darla Hoots, Megan Williams, April Holt, Beth Gallos, Kathryn Bullins, Terri Kepley and Tyanna LeBeau for all the love and care shown to Buddy and his family.
