James Doyle Thomason

James Doyle Thomason, 58, of Goforth Lake Road, died Friday, June 23, 2006, at his home. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Barry Surratt. Burial will follow in Lexington City Cemetery. Mr. Thomason was born June 23, 1948, in Davidson County to John Webster Thomason and Lula Leonard Thomason. He was a former employee of Lexington Furniture Industries and attended Lighthouse Baptist Church in Welcome. He was preceded in death by his father. Surviving are his mother of the home; three brothers, Ted Wayne Thomason and Steve Thomason, both of the home, and Larry Thomason and his wife, Diane, of Lexington; and two sisters, Barbara Little and her husband, Weldon, and Lynn Bost and her husband, Danny, all of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Monday at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington and other times at the home.
