James Albert Eicher

James Albert Eicher, age 76 of Lexington passed away Sunday 2/14/2021 at the Atrium in Concord NC., after a long battle with COVID. A memorial service will be held at later date. James was born January 18, 1945 in Brownsville, Pa to Robert Eicher and Katherine Porterfield Eicher. He graduated high school and joined the Army. He was a part of the 82ND Airborne and was a paratrooper/rigger. He was a member of the Masonic lodge and was a lifetime member of the VFW. He worked in the maintenance field, having worked in several states before retiring to North Carolina and enjoyed his time on High Rock Lake at the campground with his friend Corey. James also enjoyed his time with his great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and two sisters. Those left to cherish is memory are: his wife Donna of the home; sons James Robert Eicher (Beth Ann) of Newscastle Pa, Timothy Eicher of Nevada, and Thomas Eicher of West Middlesex Pa; daughter, Kimberly Hackney ( Dewayne) of Winston-Salem NC; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-granchildren; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
