James Francis "Jimmy" Everhart, 72, of Michael Road, died Sunday, March 26, 2006, at his residence after a sudden illness.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Max Shoaf. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ Cemetery.
Mr. Everhart was born Sept. 12, 1933, in Davidson County to John Glenn Everhart and Nellie Catherine Whitlock Everhart. He was retired from Local 397 Iron Worker in Tampa, Fla. A son, James Randall Everhart, preceded him in death.
Surviving are four sons, Thomas Scott Everhart and Kenny Pass, both of Lexington, John Glenn Pass of Tampa, Fla., and Randy Dean Bailey of Walkertown; 11 grandchildren, Hailey Everhart, Courtney Everhart, Sierra Everhart, Sherina Smith, Jackie Dean Bailey, Shelly Everhart, Tina Everhart, Jason Everhart, John Pass Jr., Katie Pass and Robin Pass; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, Glenn Everhart, Bobby Everhart and Ted Everhart, all of Lexington; and two sisters, Norene Surratt and Sarah Stogner, both of Lexington.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home
