James Steven Hall Sr.

James Steven Hall Sr., 77 of Lexington, passed away April 21, 2024, at his home in Lexington.

A celebration of his life will be held later.

James was born August 11, 1946, in Anson County, NC, to Larren LaVerne Hall and Annie Mildred Blount Hall. James was of the Baptist faith, and a veteran having served in Vietnam with both the US Air force and the US Army. He loved hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He attended North Davidson High School; his passion was his family, especially his 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, who will be missed by all. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Glenna Bowling Hall.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons, James Hall Jr., Harley Hall, both of Welcome, NC; daughter, Annie Mildred Hall Nelson and husband Bobby of Ga.; brothers, Dr. Dennis L. Hall Sr., of Concord NC, M. David Hall of Roseboro NC, sisters, Sharon Hartman husband Tom of Zebulon NC, Judy Keaton of N Myrtle Beach, SC. Also surviving are numerus nieces, and nephews.
