James Ryan Hedrick, 27, of Allred Road, died Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at his home.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012, at Westside Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Warren officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church and other times at the home on Allred Road.
Mr. Hedrick was born August 19, 1985, in Davidson County, to Tony Stevenson Hedrick and Mary Tysinger Hedrick. He had attended Davidson County Community College after graduating from Central Davidson High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a former Stocker at Food Lion. Mr. Hedrick was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Ann Hedrick.
Surviving in addition to his parents of Lexington are his twin brother, Steven Bryan Hedrick and friend, Lauren Crawford of Greensboro; half-brothers, Eric Ginn and wife, Donna, and Tony Stevenson Hedrick Jr., both of Lexington; half-sisters, Adrienne Augsburger and husband, Jay, of Lexington, and Ginger Elledge of Liberty; grandparents, Donald and Maude Tysinger of Lexington; nieces, Annia Foster and Charity McGath of Lexington; nephews Phillip Foster of Lexington, Nathan Watkins and wife, of Germany, and Lucas Hedrick and Phillip Watkins, both of Greensboro.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the Donor’s choice.
