James Arvil Hubbard

James Arvil Hubbard 63 passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at his home. James was a loving husband, father, and friend. James loved everyone and everyone loved him. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 24, 2015 at Lighthouse Baptist Church (Welcome) with Revs. Avery Varnador and Barry Surratt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. James was born in Morrilton, AR to William Charles Hubbard and Helen Mae Barker Hubbard. He worked at Lexington Home Brands and was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Don Hubbard and Ricky Hubbard. Surviving are his wife Carol Sue Hartley Hubbard of the home, son, James Hartley Hubbard (Elizabeth) of Columbia, SC; daughter, Katina Michelle Ross (Gerald) of Morrilton, AR; sisters, Linda Hubbard, Kim Stegemann (Doug), Melissa Harris (Jimmy) and Karen Smith (Jimmy) all of Morrilton, AR; grandchildren, Ty Sowell, Chasity Girtz (Jacob) and two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Joy. Also surviving his extended family, The Hartley’s. Memorials may be made to Lighthouse Baptist Church, Building Fund, P. O. Box 89, Welcome, NC 27374.
