James Pinkney Infinger

November 6, 1955 — August 7, 2012

James Pinkney Infinger, 56, of Arnold Road, died Tuesday, August 07, 2012, at his home following an extended month illness. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 11, 2012, at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel, with the Rev. David Purdy and Gina Colorio officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2012, at the funeral home. Mr. Infinger was born November 6, 1955, in Forsyth County, to Richard Infinger and Nora Christine Stewart Infinger. He served in the U.S. Army and was a mechanic for the City of Winston-Salem. Mr. Infinger adored his wonderful children and his pets, Hershey, Buddy, and Pinkney. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Miller Infinger. Surviving are his loving wife, Kathern Carter Infinger of the home; son, Christopher James Infinger of the home; daughter, Lillian Christine Infinger of the home; brothers, Phillip Gray Infinger and wife, Debra of Kernersville, Jerry Infinger and wife Sandy of High Point; and sisters, Janice Dixon and husband Ted of Midway and Kay Gobble and husband Ricky of Wallburg. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Debbie Nichols, Nicolas Johnson, Wilshire Golf Club and the Revs. David Purdy and Gina Colorio for the care and compassion given to them during this time of need. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
