James "Jim" Gray Boyd

James “Jim” Gray Boyd age 60, of Sophia left this earth on Thursday August 4, 2011. Due to injuries suffered from a motorcycle accident. A memorial service will be 2:00 pm Sunday August 7, 2011 at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. There will be a gathering of family and friends at the home of Jim and Lisa to celebrate Jim’s life on Sunday August 7, 2011 at 6:00 pm. Jim was a avid motorcycle rider, longtime truck driver and a man who never met a stranger. Riding his bike and being with friends were among his favorite things. Jim is survived by his long time beloved Lisa Garner and his dog Harry of the home, Lisa’s daughter Brandy Atkinson of Sophia and his almost grandson Cooper. His mother Alma Boyd of Midway, his brother Charles Boyd of Lexington, his sisters; Terri Contreras of Midway and Faye Bardwell of Washington State. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
