James "Jim" William Price

James William Price, 77, of Riverwood Drive, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at High Point Regional Medical Center. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, at Davidson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Josh Gentle officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Price was born December 7, 1938, in Memphis, TN., to Authur Milton Price and Letra Hughes Price. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a retired police officer from the High Point Police Department. Mr. Price was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Price. Surviving are his loving wife, Bonnie Kennedy Price of the home; daughter, Lacie Price Davis and husband Dennis of St. Pete Beach, Fl.; and a sister, Peggy Guerriera and husband Paul of Pueblo West, Colorado.
