James Donald Kepley

James Donald “Don” Kepley, age 68 of Arland Drive, Lexington NC died Sunday, June 22 at Forsyth Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday (6-26-2008) in the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel conducted by Rev. Don Leonard. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Don was born in Davidson County January 11, 1940 to William Robert Kepley and Mattie Hancock Kepley. He was a retired employee of Binnings Building Products after 30 plus years of service. He was a member of Second United Church of Christ and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Paul and Fred Kepley and a sister Juanita K. Bruff. Surviving are: His wife; Hidia Goins Kepley of the home, one son; Charles Kepley of Lexington, one daughter; Lisa Kepley Sizemore and husband Joel of Midway, three grandchildren; Chad Kepley, Madison and Abigail Sizemore, one brother; Robert “Rob” Kepley and wife Betty of Lexington, two sisters; Norma Basil and husband Robert of Annapolis, Maryland and Alice “Sissie” Watkins and husband Gene of Lexington. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6 until 8 pm Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Second Reformed United Church of Christ, 330 North Church Street, Lexington, NC 27292
