James Edward Laine

James Edward Laine 86 of Lexington passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Lexington Health Center.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at The Salisbury National Cemetery conducted by Pastor Wayne Sechrest. The family will see Friends from 10:00 am till 11:00 am prior to service at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington, NC.

James was born October 23, 1936, in Petersburg, Virginia. He served in the US Navy and was a member of Rolling Heights Faith Baptist Church. James is preceded in death by his parents, wife Betty Louise Snead Laine, son James C. Laine, grandson Richard Thomas Skipper.

Surviving are his son; Terry L. Laine of Lexington, daughter; Rose M. Skipper husband Buddy of Trinity; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
