James Ervin Leonard

James Ervin Leonard, 77 of Alson Brook of Lexington, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Alson Brook. In order to comply with directives from Governor Cooper’s office, a private graveside service will be held Monday May 4, 2020 at Paul’s Chapel Evangelical Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Aaron Long. James was born on January 13, 1943 in Davidson County to Ervin C. Leonard and Margaret Leonard Leonard. He was a member of Paul’s Chapel Evangelical Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Sharon Craver Leonard and son, Tim Leonard. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving daughter, Christina Hull (Tony Sr.) of Lexington; brother, Jerry C. Leonard (Linda) of Elizabeth City, NC and sister, Judy Leonard of Lexington: four grandchildren, Tasha Abate, Amber Pleasant, Tony Hull Jr., Ariana Hull and 8 great-grandchildren.
