James Link

Mr. James Oscar Link, 78, of Lexington, died Friday, October 22 at Pine Ridge Health. A private burial will be held at the Lexington City Cemetery. Mr. Link will lie in state from 1-5pm Monday at Davidson Funeral Home. Mr. Link was born January 19, 1943 in Davidson County to Boyd Odell Link, Sr. and Addie Mae Hartley Link. He retired from Lexington Furniture Industries. His wife, Sara Elizabeth Whitted Link, his brother, Rayvon Link, and his sisters, Laura Curry and Bonnie Gail Wallace, preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Ann Thornton (Jeffrey) of McLeansville, Tina Diane Burkhart (Tim) of Lexington; his brother, Odell Link, Jr (Sylvia) of Mebane, his sister, Sue Walser of Lexington; his grandchildren, Miriam Burkhart and Daniel Burkhart; and his great-grandson, Levi Slater. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington NC 27292.
