James Lavern Todd

James Lavern Todd, age 56 of Dawn Drive, Clemmons, NC passed away Friday night (8-22-2008) at his home.  He requested that his body be donated to Medical Science for research. There will be no service, however his remains will be buried at a later date at the Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC He was born in Delaware County, IN August 10, 1952 to Vernon Cecil Todd, Sr. and Garnett Alice Burton Todd.  He was retired from the US Navy after serving 24 years, a member of the American Legion, Amvets and the VFW in Muncie, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving are: wife; Virginia Fox Todd of the home, two daughters; Suzzanna Dean of Clemmons, NC and Stefanie Warstler of Muncie, IN, three sons; Joshua Todd, Bernard McClain and William McClain all of South Carolina, nine grandchildren, two sisters; Susan Todd of Clemmons, NC and Debra Stewart of Muncie, IN and one brother; Vernon Cecil Todd, Jr. of Muncie, IN Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the family.
