James Lonzo Tysinger, age 66 of Salem Terrace Winston Salem formerly of Carolina Acres Road, Lexington died Sunday at Forsyth Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday at Fundamental Baptist Tabernacle conducted by Rev. Chris Lanning and Rev. T.R. Moore and burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
James was born in Guilford county July 13, 1941 to Elwood Travis Tysinger and Mildred Parker Tysinger. He was a retired supervisor with Lexington Furniture Plant 2, member of Fundamental Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam.
Survivors are: wife; Phyllis Aldridge Tysinger of the home, Son; William “Eugene” Tysinger and wife Becky of Lexington, Grandchildren; Cole Tysinger, Megan Tysinger, Kaitlyn Tysinger and Ezekeil Tysinger, two Brothers; Johnny and Robert Tysinger both of Lexington, three sisters; Eloise Hilliard, Bertha Louya and Thelma Walser all of Lexington.
The family will receive friends Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington from 6 until 8 pm and at other times at the home, 214 Carolina Acres Road, Lexington
