James Edward Waller, Sr.

James Edward Waller Sr., 58, of Ward Curry Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church by the Revs. Doug McGee and Max Shoaf. Mr. Waller was born Dec. 8, 1947, in Davie County to Robert Lee and Mary E. Williams Waller, who preceded him in death. He was formerly employed with Red Bird Cab Co. and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife, Patricia "Pat" Byerly Waller of the home; two sons, Daniel Queen and his wife, Connie, of West Virginia and James Edward Waller Jr. of the home; two daughters, Lori Gibson and her husband, Paul, and Elizabeth Williams and her husband, Larry, all of Lexington; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Gary Waller of Lexington and Bob Waller of Oklahoma. The family will receive friends at the home. Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington is serving the family.
