James Arnold Williams

James Arnold Williams, 83, of Sowers Road in Linwood, passed away Friday September 9, 2022 at the

Hinkle Hospice Home in Lexington.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Thursday, September 22, 2022, at the National Cemetery in

Salisbury, North Carolina with Military Graveside Rites, with Pastor Keith Perkins officiating services.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 pm Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Davidson Funeral Home.

James was born August 11, 1939 in Rockingham County to Lester John Williams and Vivian Alderman

Williams. He was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church and enjoyed Woodworking, Fishing

playing his guitar, and was a member of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his

parents; two brothers, Alvis Williams and Robert Williams; and a sister Loretta Williams.

Surviving are two sons, Danny Williams of Lexington, and Jeffrey Williams; his companion, Linda Zirk;

Two brothers, Doug Williams of Greensboro and Larry Williams of High Point; and 1 grandchild.
