Jamie Ryan Koontz

Jamie Ryan Scates Koontz, 41, of Lexington, passed away May 30, 2023, at High Point Regional Hospital in High Point.

A celebration of her life will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, June 3, 2023, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Morrison officiating the service. The family will see friends Friday, June 2, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm

Jamie was born December 3, 1981, in Davidson County, to LeRoy and Debbie Biesecker Scates. Jamie graduated from Central Davidson High School Class of 2000, and Davidson County Community College, was a paralegal with the Law Office of Richard McCain. Her passion was her family, especially her two sons who were the love of her life. Jamie was selfless and always putting others before herself. She was truly a remarkable woman. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, who will be missed by all.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband Chris Koontz of the home, two sons, Hunter Koontz and girlfriend Bella Grieser, Connor Koontz, both of the home, brother, Chris Scates and wife Rena of S.C. Also surviving are several aunts, one niece and cousins, and her special friend, Michael Bowens of Lexington.
