Jamie Van Buskirk

Jamie Denise Van Buskirk, 58, a resident of Linwood, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Kiser Hospice Home in Salisbury. Jamie was born in Germany to Arthur Samuel and Regina J Van Buskirk on July 29, 1964. She was an outspoken person, who could be described as blunt at times, however Jamie also had the biggest heart. She was a caring and selfless individual who would help anyone in need. She was a member of Churchland Baptist Church. Jamie will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at 2:00PM in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00PM at the funeral home.

Jamie is survived by her daughters Samantha Van Buskirk Freeman (Joseph) and Brittanny Nichole Strunk, all of Lexington; husband, Charles Boyd Garrison, of Lexington; step-son, Brandon Garrison (Emily) of Stanly County; step-daughter, Amanda Story (Jon) of Lexington; a brother, Patrick Van Buskirk (Martha) of Indiana; grandchildren, Jameson, Declan, Payton, Jake, Bryson, Corbin, Skylar, and Cayden; and great-grandson, Nolan.
