Jammie Juanita Callahan, 44 of Lexington, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm Wednesday, January 8th at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Lexington officiated by Pastor Mark Hopkins and Rev. Jimmy Tilley. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Jammie was born on Monday, March 10th, 1980, in Davidson County to Ricky Lee Callahan and Deborah Elliott Callahan Rone. She worked in child nutrition for Lexington City Schools and attended First Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved angels, family, birthdays, Christmas, and her fur baby named Precious. Jammie was preceded in death by her birth father, Ricky Lee Callahan and grandparents, Ann Harrelson, Fleta and Jim Callahan.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Wayne and Doris Morrison of the home; birth mother, Deborah Rone (Jeff); sisters, Tammy Morrison McCann (Thomas), Sherry Morrison Byerly (Travis), Ralee Callahan; brother, Chris Callahan (Amanda); grandfather, P.W. Elliott; nieces, Payton Callahan, Jaylee Callahan, Katelin Byerly (Mitchell); nephews, Zachary Tilley (Laina), Austin Byerly (Jasmine), Jared Tilley (Sonia), Hunter Byerly (Alexis), numerous uncles and aunts and her special fur baby, Precious.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to First Pentecostal Holiness Church Building Fund, 1448 E. US Hwy 64, Lexington, NC 27292.
