Jane Hall

Mrs. Jane Earl Burch Hall, 84, of S. State Street, died Monday, April 29, at the Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, May 5 at First Baptist Church, by the Revs. Dr. Ray Howell III and Tommy Wilson. There will be no public visitation. Mrs. Hall was born February 23, 1929 in Mecklenburg County to Joseph Earl Burch and Susan Olive Blake Burch. She was a retired Elementary School Teacher and a Church Children’s Music Teacher. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Graham Dwight Hall, of the home; her sons, Dwight Hall of California, MD and Roger Alan Hall of Lexington; her half-brother, Lowell Spivey, Jr. of Ocean Isle Beach; a half-sister, Lydia Spivey Williams of Charlotte; three grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
