Jane Wilson Julian

Jane Wilson Julian, age 85, of Alston Brook of Lexington was gently lifted into the arms of the angels for her final journey home. Mrs. Julian’s request was to be cremated and for the family to have a private service to celebrate her life. She was born in Rowan County, April 24, 1922 to the late Alvis Wilson and Edith McNeil Wilson. She was a graduate of Boyden High School in Salisbury and attended Maryville College in Tennessee and Catawba College in Salisbury. She was employed with Earle’s Office Supply in Salisbury for 20 years and retired after 21 years with N.C. State Vocational Rehabilitation, Pinehurst, NC as Administrative Secretary. Her passion for creating beautiful handwork, placing each stitch with great care and precision, will provide a loving legacy to those who are left behind. She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister Dorothy Wilson Gibson. Surviving are: Daughter; Brenda Julian Williams of Greensboro, 5 Grandchildren; Lisa Sutton, Amy Callahan, Trudy Lyon, Kelly Henry and Kevin Williams, 5 Great-Grandchildren; Ben McCalman, Heather McCalman, Tara Lyon, Quienton Harden and Dylan Lyon, 1 Nephew; Lance Gibson, 2 Nieces; Mira Kinney and Melissa Jacobs. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Alston Brook Nursing Home who lovingly cared for our mother while she lived there.
