Jane Welch Perryman Ridenhour

July 8, 1929 — October 27, 2012

Jane Welch Perryman Ridenhour, 83, of Sweetbriar Drive, died Saturday, October 27, 2012, at Carolina Medical Center, NE in Concord after six months of declining health. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 31, 2012, at First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Matthew L. Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. in the church fellowship hall and other times at the home. Mrs. Ridenhour was born July 8, 1929, in Davidson County, to Creed Carlos Welch and Ruth Mize Welch. She was retired from Western Electric. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Lee Perryman who died in December 1952 and George Kermit Ridenhour who died March 26, 1988; brothers, Ray Franklin Welch and John Welch; and sisters, Isette Stewart and Betty Ann Adams. Surviving are sons, Larry Perryman and wife Sandy and James Perryman and wife Laurene, both of Lexington; daughter, Georgeanna Ray and husband Robert of Dallas; grandchildren, Angela Williams and husband, Charles, Charles Perryman and wife Sarah, Gina Sink and husband Jeremy, Darren Perryman and wife Amanda, Stefanie White and husband Bernard, Whitney Anthony and husband Josh, and Katelyn Ray; 11 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and sister, Alta Mae Ledford and husband Harold of Winston-Salem and special friend, Ms. Elaine Stutts.
