Jane Sink Webb

Jane Sink Webb, age 84 of Sink Farm Road, Lexington passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at her home.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Monday, December 16, 2019 at Tyro United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Foster and Dr. Alan Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall from 2:00 until 3:00  prior to the service.

Jane was born in Davidson County, October 1, 1935 to Bayard Franklin Sink and Sadie Craver Sink. She graduated with honors from Pfeiffer University, was a member of Tyro United Methodist Church where she served as Christian Education Director and also served in that capacity in the Lexington District of the United Methodist Church. She also served under appointment as Pastor at Reeds and Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Thomas (Jim) Webb, Sr.; and siblings, Gretchen, Laurie, Melba, Gloria, Myra and Avril.

Surviving are her sons; James T. (Chip) Webb (Kathy) of Pfafftown and Jerry S. Webb (Theresa) of Advance; daughter, Joy Welch (Bobby) of Lexington; 6 grandchildren, Casey, Daniel, Nathan, Kathryn, Kirsten and Kelsey; 2 great-grandchildren, Ezekiel Webb and Norah Jayne Webb and a brother, Bayard Hoyle Sink (Libby) of Lexington.
