Janet "Jeanette" Smith Huffman

Jeanette Huffman 81 of Lexington passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Hinkle Hospice House.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Parklawn Memorial Park in Winston-Salem with Rev. Tammy Talbert officiating.   A visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel.   Jeanette was born on June 13, 1935 in Forsyth County to the late Clyde and Annie Reece Smith.  She retired from A T & T and was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church.     Surviving are her husband Lowell Huffman of the home; a son, Mark Huffman; daughter, Jill Huffman both of Lexington, a brother, Thurman Smith (Kaye) of Yadkinville; a sister, Doris McDaniel (Ralph) of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, Hailey Huffman, Mark Huffman, Jr., Heather Huffman and many nieces and nephews.   Memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC  27292   Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
