Janet Loflin Nance

Janet Loflin Nance, age 79 of Lexington passed away Tuesday night February 11, 2020 at the home of her son.

A funeral service will be held Noon Saturday February 15, 2020 at Clearview Baptist Church with Revs. Josh Sheffield and Mike Fritts officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 until 12:00 prior to the service and at other times at the home of her son Brian Nance.

Janet was born in Davidson County August 17, 1940 to Leon Loflin and Maggie Reid Loflin. She was a retired employee of Duracell. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Bruce Nance in 1975; brothers, Robert and Billy Loflin and a sister Betty Snider.

Surviving are her sons, Timothy Bruce Nance (Ann W.) and Brian Nance (Amy) all of Lexington; granddaughters, Carrie Strong (Malik) and Gabby Sheffield (Josh); great-grandchildren, Sarah, Joshua and Titus; a sister Dorothy Skeen of Denton.
