Janet Marie Price (Rowe)

Janet Marie Walker Price Rowe, 71, of Richford Ave., Thomasville died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, March 28, 2015 at Christian Cathedral Pentecostal Holiness with Pastor Adam Dillian officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday at the church just prior to the service. Burial will follow at Near Calvary Free Will Baptist Church. Janet was born February 23, 1944 in Wichita Texas to Fredrick V. Walker and Eva Mae Kitchen Walker. A retired employee of Time Warner, she was a member of Christian Cathedral Pentecostal Holiness Church and a quartet, Righteous Harmony. Preceding her in death was her father, and a son, Gary Dean Price. Surviving are her husband, Woodrow Wilson Rowe of the home; a son, Mark Price (Suzie) of California; a daughter, Tamela Barnes (Darren) of Lexington; her mother, Eva Mae Kitchen Walker of Madison, WV; 11 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two brothers, James Bub Walker (Janie), Gary Walker (Dreama) all of WV.
