Janice Arnette

Janice "Bo" Carole Carrick Arnette, 82, of Lexington, passed away Monday, August 3, 2026, at the Hinkle Hospice House.

Born on July 23, 1944, in Davidson County, North Carolina, Janice was the daughter of the late Clyde Herman Carrick and Myrtle Dickens Carrick.

A woman of strong faith, Janice was a devoted member of Holloway's Baptist Church. She dedicated many years of service to the Davidson County Children's Dental Clinic, where she worked in a clerical position. She was known for her caring spirit, kind heart, and the love she shared with her family and friends. Her hobbies included reading, movies, music, and travel to many destinations.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Rusty Arnette; her daughter, Jodi Williams, spouse, Joseph Williams; her sisters, Ann Brady and Peggy Troutman; and her beloved grandchildren, Dustin Arnette, Dalton Arnette, and great-granddaughter, Elora Savannah Arnette.

In addition to her parents, Janice was preceded in death by her sisters Jean Burkhart and Sandra Carrick.

A service to honor Janice's life will be held at Holloway's Baptist Church on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at the church.
