Janice Gail Bain

Janice Gail Holden Bain, 79, of Ninth Street Ext., died Monday, February 2, 2015, at Lexington Health Care, following a short two month illness. A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Thursday February 5, 2015 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Kenneth Marshburn officiating. Mrs. Bain was born August 14, 1935, in Blue Ridge, Ga., to James Fletcher Holden Jr. and Susie Padgett Holden. She was formerly a manager at Leaseway Transportation. She enjoyed reading, doing her crafts, cooking and watching birds. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Campbell Bain; and a sister, Mary Hopkins. Surviving are sons, James Robert Bain and wife Debbie of Blairsville, Ga., Richard Harold Bain of Blue Ridge, Ga., William Carlton Bain of Athens, Ga., and Jon Edward Bain of Lexington; daughter, Jennifer Kaye Bain of Lexington; grandchildren, Allen Bain and wife Maria, Heather Bain, Susie Bain, Timothy Richard Glazner and wife Arwen, Matthew Glazner, Ashley Bain, Kayla Morgan, Brian Bain, Jessica Bain, and Lisa Bain; and 11 great-grandchildren.
