Janice Todd Bivens

Janice Bivens 58 of Watkins Road, Lexington passed away Sunday morning at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem. A Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday (August 25, 2010) at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. James Messer. Burial to follow at Arrington Heights Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday night at the funeral home and at other times at the home of her daughter on Happy Hill Road, Lexington.   Mrs. Bivens was born June 12, 1952 in Columbus County to Ronnie Clyde Hayes and Vinnie Annie Todd Hayes.  She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Dean Hayes.   Surviving are: her parents of Lexington, husband, David Bivens of the home; one son, David Bivens Jr. of Lexington; two daughters, Penny Bivens and Jennifer Littleton and husband Jason all of Lexington; three Grandchildren, Hannah, Amelia and Preston; four Brothers, Ronnie Dale Hayes and wife Gail, Kenneth Ray Hayes and wife Pamela, Vernon Mitchell Hayes and wife Debra and Darian Wayne Hayes and wife Loretta all of Lexington.     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
