Janice Davis

Janice Yvonne Stoker Davis, 61, of Gray Road, died Wednesday, March 05, 2008, at her home. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Friday at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Jonathan Davis. Burial will follow in Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Denton. Mrs. Davis was born December 2, 1946 in Davidson County to James Matthew Stoker and Mary Elizabeth Cooper Stoker. She was the Founder and First Lady of Servant’s Heart Ministries. She was preceded in death by her father, husband Rev. Kenneth Eugene Davis in 2004 and grandson, Reggie Lee Davis. Surviving are: two sons, Reggie Davis and wife, Lynn, of Denton, Jonathan Davis and companion Genni Ritchie of Lexington; daughter, Regina Davis of Lexington; adopted daughter Stormy Bartlett of Lexington. Mother Mary Cooper Stoker of Lexington, grandsons, Ryan Davis, Christopher Campbell, Cameron Campbell, Caleeb Campbell, Cody Barringer, Breekya Bartlett and Hoceana Charles; one brother, Mike Stoker and wife, Tonya, of Lexington and two special friends Diane Miles and Susan Flowers The family will receive friends from 6 unitl 8 pm Thursday night and at other times at the home.
