Janice Presley Edwards

Janice Presley Edwards, 72, of Winston Salem passed away Monday, December 5, 2022, at her home.  The funeral service will be 3:00 pm Friday, December 9, 2022, at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel conducted by Revs. Rick Lebaube and Ben Vogler. Burial will follow at Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will see friends from 2-3 pm Friday prior to the service.

Mrs. Edwards was born January 8, 1950, in Davidson County to the late Ray Presley and Edna Sink Presley. She retired from Davidson County Schools and taught at Midway Elementary, Wallburg Elementary, and North Davidson Middle school and was a member of Midway United Methodist Church. Her brother, Charles Presley also preceded her in death.

Surviving is her husband, Danny Edwards of the home. Her children, Brent Edwards (Helen) of Charlotte and Beth Velasco (Chris) of Washington, D.C. Grandchildren: Danielle, Brandon, and Carmen Velasco. Also surviving are a brother, Kimmey Presley of Winston Salem, and a sister-in-law, Kitty Presley of Wallburg.
