Janice Martin Everhart, 74, of Hill Everhart Road, died Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Hinkle Hospice House.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 4, 2010, at Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with the Revs. Arnold Goslen and John Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday October 3, 2010 at Davidson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Everhart was born October 22, 1935, in Catawba County to Walter James Martin and Ann Osborne Martin. She was a retired nurse, from Lexington Memorial Hospital after 27 years of service. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Everhart, who died July 13, 2000; and a son, Stevie Woodall.
Surviving are children, Lee Scott Woodall and wife, Lisa, of Lexington, Gloria Everhart Craver and husband, Eddie, of Fort Mill S.C. and Howard Neal Woodall and wife, Donia, of Savannah, Ga.; brother David Scott Martin and wife, Martha of Lexington; grandchildren, Brent Woodall, Brad Craver and wife, Misti , Meredith Craver, Tyanne Woodall, Teresa Goody and husband, Glenn; great-grandchildren, Will Craver, Anna Craver, Taylor Goody, and Trevor Goody; and honorary son, Dr. Jim Black of Lexington.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, Hinkle Hospice House, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
