Janice Marie Hopper

Janice (Jan) Marie Gulledge Hopper 78 of Winston Salem passed away Monday, August 8, 2022, at Trellis Supportive Care. A private graveside service will be held at Crest View Memorial Park.

Mrs. Hopper was born May 13, 1944, in Forsyth County to Leon Thorp Gulledge and Margaret Zelle Brinegar Gulledge. She retired from Hanes Brands after 30 years of service where she helped create and run successfully the first sample sale that turned into an annual event. She earned a  “First Service Award”  For her years of dedication to DMD. Her parents and a brother, Larry Leon Gulledge all preceded her in death.

Surviving is her loving husband of 60 years, Mickey Hopper of the home. Two daughters, Cynthia Denise Cox  (Marty) of Clemmons and Traci Lynn Boles of Lexington. Her grandchildren, Kristin Taylor Cox, Kyle Michael Cox, and Tanner Lee O’Brien.
