Janice Koonts Hughes

Janice Koonts Hughes, 59, of Moore Drive, died Tuesday, March 20, 2007, in the Palliative Care Unit at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by the Rev. Bill Sosebee. Mrs. Hughes was born March 12, 1948, in Davidson County to Terry Joe Koonts and Flossie Alease Michael Koonts. She was a homemaker and an employee of Lexington City Schools. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jackson Michael Koonts. Surviving are her husband, Darrell Hughes of the home; one son, Terry Clifton Hughes of Randleman; and two brothers, Will Joe Koonts and Randy Terry Koonts, both of Lexington.
