Janice Lynn Norton

Janice (Jan) Lynn Norton age 66 of Winston Salem passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center. A celebration of life will be 3:00 pm Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel conducted by Pastor Gary Sebastian. The family will see friends following the celebration of life.

Jan was born June 28, 1955, in Buncombe County to Harold Edwin Norton and Eula Mae Capps Norton. She retired from Piedmont Tower. Her parents preceded her in death. Her favorite past time was looking for 4 leaf clovers and could always find several.

Surviving is her companion Kenith Lee McIntosh of the home. Her sons, Matthew Ross Covington (Amber) of Burlington and Geoffrey Chadrick Covington of Thomasville. A daughter, Misty Leann Covington of Thomasville. Grandchildren: Ashlynn Covington, Tyler Covington, Matthew Covington, Jaden Covington and Keegan Covington. Also surviving are a brother, Allen Norton of Welcome and sisters, Renee Snider (Lonnie) of Welcome and Michelle Hoots of Lexington. A nephew, Hunter Hoots and nieces, Becki Snider, Brittany Norton and great niece, Kelli Norton.
