Janice Faye Stepp

Janice Faye Lawson Stepp, age 58, of Jackson Avenue passed away Monday night September 29, 2014, at Hinkle Hospice House after an extended illness. A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday October 2, 2014 in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Doug McGee. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. The family will see friends Wednesday October 1, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter on Tom Everhart Road. Janice was born in Davidson County, on November 12, 1955, to John Lawson and Mary Alice Goins Lawson. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father on Jan 28, 2005, and her husband, Douglas Allen Stepp on September 19, 2006. Janice is survived by son, Jeremy Shawn Stepp (Tiffany) of Lexington; daughter, Rheanna Doree Stepp (John) of Lexington; her mother of Lexington; brothers, Roger Dale Lawson (Kathy) and Marvin Eugene Lawson (Ann) both of Lexington; sister, Tammy Lawson Emory (Shayne) of Lexington and her father and mother in law Doug and Louise Stepp of Lexington.
