Janice Sue Dusina Johnson

Janice Sue Dusina Johnson, age 81 of Lexington, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021 at her home.

Funeral service for Janice and her husband, Ben, will be at 11 am Tuesday from the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Glenn Dusina. The service will be live streamed at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome . Burials will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park with military honors for Ben. Family will see friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am Tuesday before the service.

Janice was born on February 1, 1940 in Wheelwright Kentucky to Tom P. Dusina and Doll Cupp Dusina. She was retired owner and operator of Dusina Pizza in Welcome. Was a member of Grace Community Fellowship. Family was her life and her faith in God were the most important things that she cherished. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ben Johnson daughter, Tracey Grasser and brother, Carlton Dusina and sister, Jean Weiss.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving daughters, Kim Hunt (Rusty) of La Grange, and Kandi Tackett (Collie) of Lexington; Brothers, Glen Dusina of Lexington, Tommy Dusina of Alabama, Jerry Dusina of Michigan; sisters, Reba Hirschfield of Cary, Mary Barrett of Kentucky, Myra Smith of Michigan and Donna Helton of Alabama. Also surviving are her six grandchildren; Joshua, Whitney, Jonathan, Jotham, Jana and Madison, and 7 great-grandchildren.
