Jared Allen Perrell, 4, of Hoover Road, Entered God’s Heavenly Kingdom on Sunday, November 9, 2008, ending a courageous battle from complications of a lifelong unknown immune deficiency.
A service to celebrate his life will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at Reedy Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Egbert Craven with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Jared was born July 22, 2004, in Lexington, NC, to Jeffrey Allen Perrell and Christie Murphy Perrell. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Banks and Evelyn Evans, Clifton and Cathern Murphy, Howard and Vertie Mock and Paul and Anna Perrell. Jared was a member of God’s children on earth and shared his love and beautiful smile with everyone. He was a blessing to his family and is now a shinning bright star in the Heavens.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his big 7 year old brother, Jackson Alexander Perrell; his grandparents, Harriette and Clifton Murphy of Welcome and Gail and Lance Perrell of Reedy Creek; aunts and uncles, Tammy and Chris Beck, Anna and Marty Lanier, Lance Perrell Jr., and Paul Perrell; cousins, Morgan and Grayson Beck, and Rachel and Sarah Lanier; and a large extended family of great aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, and other times at the home on Hoover Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Reedy Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 600 Reedy Creek Baptist Church Road, Lexington, NC 27295; or Hospice of the Piedmont Kids Path, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262; or to a charity of choice.
Special thanks are extended to his numerous caretakers, Dr. James Burke and staff at Lexington Pediatrics in Lexington, Dr. Joseph Roberts, Debbie Sedlak and a host of nurses and doctors at the Duke Children’s Clinic, Hospice of the piedmont (Kid’s Path) and “Miss Mildred” for their love and care. For the tremendous outpouring of love and support from the Lexington, Welcome, and Reedy Creek area churches, and wider communities, the family extends their deepest heartfelt THANKS.
