Jay Patrick Shuping

Jay Patrick Shuping age 39 of Welcome passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his home with mom by his side. A private memorial service will be held on a later date. Jay was born January 17, 1974 in Rowan County to Ronald W. Shuping and Cathy Burris Shuping. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Louis Shuping. Surviving are his mother, Cathy Burris Conrad and husband Barry of Lexington, his father, Ronald W. Shuping and wife Sandra of Spencer, daughters, Apache Dawn Shuping and Cheyenne Shuping of Denton, sister, Stefanie Leonard of Welcome, his nieces, Kaci Leonard, Emmi Leonard, his nephews, Ryan Leonard, Kody Leonard, Kyle Leonard, grandparents, Tommy and Eula Burris of Arcadia. The family would like memorials sent to, Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
