Jean Hundley Foster

Jean Hundley Foster, 80, of Brighton Gardens, Raleigh, formerly of Thomasville, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel by the Rev. Gary Foster. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mrs. Foster was born Aug. 31, 1925, in Davidson County to George Lee Hundley and Glenna Hill Hundley. She was a member of the Thomasville Woman's Club and the Magnolia Garden Club of Thomasville and was a Methodist. Her parents and a sister, Georganna Henson, preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Robert Foster Jr. and his wife, Kim, of Cary; a daughter, Georgette Foster Shepherd and her husband, Walter, of Raleigh; four grandchildren, Justin Foster Hedrick, Kennan Foster Hedrick, Elizabeth Ashmore Foster and Katherine Morgan Foster; and a great-grandchild, Ariana Rebecca Shampnois. Also surviving are her lifelong friends at THE BRIDGE CLUB in Thomasville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service. Memorials may be directed to the Susan G.
