Jean Helen McDonald Knote, 78, of Biesecker Road, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008, at her home after declining in health for one year.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
Mrs. Knote was born July 12, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, to Charles McDonald and Elizabeth Gruenwaldt McDonald. She was an employee of Golden Corral for 17 years. She was a member of the Davidson County Wood Carvers and a long time swimmer at the YMCA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are her husband of 51 years, William “Bill” Earl Knote, of the home; sons, Von Knote, Todd Knote and wife, Tammy, and Drew Knote and wife, Annette, all of Lexington; daughter, Beth Ferguson and husband, Doug, of Lewisburg, KY; 11 grandchildren, Eric and Karry Knote, Courtney Knote and fiancé, Caleb Atkins, Caleb Knote, Misty Foley and husband, Trent, Helen Hurst, Rebecca Hurst, James Hurst, Philip Hurst, Quincy Morales Hurst, Izadora Morales Hurst; and three great-grandchildren, Michael Foley, Katie Foley and Cooper Atkins.
